Festival is Set for Saturday, August 26; 24 Area Breweries Participating

 

WALLINGFORD, CONN., August 23, 2017 – Prime 16 New Haven is hosting New Haven’s first ever outdoor craft beer festival this Saturday, August 26, 2017, in Temple Plaza at 160 Temple Street. The event is the finale to New Haven’s Craft Beer Week. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Connecticut Food Bank.

 

The festival will feature unique and limited offerings from 24 local and regional breweries with more than 40 beers tucked away in an intimate outdoor city space. Three sessions will be available between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and will offer unlimited samples along with food, music and games available on site. The festival will kick off with a VIP session, which gives ticket holders first choice on special beer offerings, shorter lines and more time to enjoy the fest before the first session.

 

Tickets for the noon to 2:00 p.m. session and the 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. session are $30 each. Tickets for the VIP tasting session from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. are $40 each.
