Wallingford 2-4 Open House Save the Date

We have relocated from our East Haven and Waterbury facilities to our new headquarters and warehouse at 2 Research Parkway in Wallingford. Our Fairfield location at 74 Linwood Avenue remains open. Our phone numbers and email addresses remain the same. Join us at an open house in Wallingford on February 4!

It’s an exciting time for the Connecticut Food Bank. Our goal is to alleviate hunger by providing the best possible service and resources to partners and hunger assistance programs throughout the six Connecticut counties we serve to help them feed hungry residents in their communities.  This new building will help us do that work in new and exciting ways.

With this move, warehouse space will double; our cold storage and loading dock capacity will triple.  This added food storage and handling space will allow us to increase the variety, depth and consistency of nutritious food we provide in partnership with community based hunger assistance organizations to more than 300,000 hungry Connecticut residents each year.

Our new, state-of-the-art Wallingford facility offers exciting opportunities for volunteers to become engaged in new and deeper ways. From helping to ready food for delivery to becoming a hunger advocate and trained community presenter, there are many ways for individuals, community groups, faith-based groups and businesses to become partners in the fight against hunger.
